Terms & Conditions

The terms and conditions detailed below apply to all bookings at the North Euston Hotel.

Cancellation Policy (excludes Christmas & New Year bookings)

Where payment is not required at time of booking, credit/debit card details will be required to hold the room(s). Cancellations will be accepted up to 48 hours prior to arrival without incurring a charge. Cancellations advised after this time or non-arrivals will incur a charge equal to the cost of your first nights’ stay and will be taken from the card details provided.

Advanced Purchase, Deposits & Payments (excludes Christmas & New Year bookings)

If your stay requires full payment at time of booking it will be non-refundable. However, if you wish to cancel your stay more than 48 hours before arrival, your pre-payment can be used towards a future stay booked within the next 12 months, however the rate will be based on the new date. If you chose to pay a deposit when it is not required, you will be charged an administration fee if you have to cancel with more than 48 hours notice.

Stays cancelled less than 48 hours before arrival will not be transferred to another date.

Murder Mysteries and  Wine & Dine Evenings.

The standard 48 hours cancellation policy applies to the accommodation element of any stay that includes an event however the event element will be charged in full unless cancelled at least 1 month prior to the event.

Where possible we will accept amendments to bookings however, we reserve the right to add an administration fee of £25.00 per room.

Christmas & New Year Accommodation & Cancellation Policy

If your stay requires a deposit, this will be a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking.

Meal choices for Christmas Day & New Years Eve are requested 1 month before along with payment of the outstanding balance

Bookings cancelled between 1 month and 15 days prior to arrival will be charged a cancellation fee equalling 2/3 rd’s of the final balance. Bookings cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival will be charged in full less VAT at the current rate.

Travel Insurance is highly recommended for all bookings.

Pricing

All prices are per room (excluding extras) unless otherwise stated and include VAT at the current rate. Prices are subject to change without notice and we reserve the right to alter your rate should a mistake me identified.

Although every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information contained online, in our brochures and advertisements, we cannot accept responsibility for any errors or omissions and reserve the right to vary, amend, supplement or cancel any information or offers featured online at any time. We shall not be bound by any descriptions, prices or other information set out in any such literature.

We always offer the best rates if you book direct.

Children

Children ages 2-15 sharing a room with 2 full paying adults will be charges a maximum of £16.00 per child per night, this rate includes breakfast. All children’s evening meals are charged as taken from either the children’s menu or the restaurant/bar menu. Family rooms are available however they cannot be booked online, please contact the hotel directly on 01253 876525 or at reception@northeustonhotel.com

Dogs

We accept 1 dog in certain bedrooms (excludes family, superior & executive rooms) at a £12.50 per night charge, we will also ask you to complete a disclaimer confirming that we can take payment from your credit card for any damages caused.

Check In & Check Out

Hotel rooms are normally available from 3:00 pm on the day of arrival, you may request an early check in, we will try to accommodate your request subject to availability. On arrival, you will be asked to provide credit/debit card details to cover any extras incurred during your stay. Without these details your account will be closed and you will be unable to charge to your room.

Rooms must be vacated by 11:00 am on the day of departure, please check in advance for availability of late check out. A minimum charge of £35.00 will be applied. Alternatively, luggage can be stored until you depart the hotel.

Guest Behaviour

We operate a ZERO TOLERANCE policy and guests are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times and to comply with hotel procedures and/or requests with regards to conduct and respect for other guests, the property of the hotel, its employees and their health and safety. We respectfully ask that guests do not disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running of the hotel, cause offence to other guests or our members of staff.

Conduct/behaviour that we reasonably consider inappropriate/unacceptable includes but is not limited to: creating an inappropriate level of noise and/or drunken or unruly behaviour and/or any behaviour with other guests or staff find offensive in any other way.

We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services or remove you and members of your party from the hotel if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached. Where this is the case, we shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred. Guests causing a nuisance to other paying guests will be asked to vacate their rooms and make a compensatory payment.

Smoking and Damage

The North Euston Hotel is a NON SMOKING building and as such, smoking is not permitted in any bedrooms, function rooms or public areas. If evidence of smoking is found in your room an automatic deep cleaning charge of £150.00 will be applied to your account. The use of candles or naked flames is not permitted. Any damage incurred by you or your party during your stay in the hotel, will be charged to your credit card. If you fail to make payment, you will be responsible for meeting any claims (including legal costs) subsequently made against us as a result of your actions together with all costs we incur in pursuing any claim against you.

Special Requests & Requirements

Whilst every effort is made to fulfil your requests, unfortunately, we cannot guarantee these and failure to do so will not constitute a breach of contract. Please advise the hotel of any special dietary needs or other requirements, including mobility issues you may have prior to arrival.

Please be aware that we hold weddings at large functions at the hotel most weekends. These may have loud music till midnight. Please check with us before booking if you are at all concerned.

Complaints or Comments

Any complaint or comment regarding a stay at our hotel should be made in the first instance to the hotel’s duty manager at the time of your stay so that all reasonable effort can be made to resolve the situation at the time. Problems which cannot be resolved there and then should be notified in writing to the hotel manager. We have a no refund policy for issues presented post stay.

Gift Vouchers

Vouchers are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase and need to be redeemed in a single transaction. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and are non-transferable. No refund will be made once the voucher has been purchased. No photocopies will be accepted.

You may choose to collect your vouchers from the hotel or postal delivery, please note that postage costs are not included in the voucher prices, any postage costs are advised during the purchase process. Please allow 48 hours for us to process all gift voucher orders. If you haven’t received your voucher within 5 working days, please call us on 01253 876525.

FESTIVE PARTIES, CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR MEALS …

Christmas Parties over 10 guests
A Non- refundable deposit of £5.00 per person on lunch bookings and £10.00 per person on dinner bookings is required to confirm your reservation.
Final numbers are requested no later than 1 week prior to your function along with the balance due and pre-ordered menus. Cancellations made between 1 week and 48 hours prior to your function will lose their deposit and carry an administration fee. Less than 48 hours notice will result in full payment.

Christmas Day Meals
Booking is essential for Christmas Day Lunch and Carvery, no other meals are being served.
A Non-refundable deposit of £10.00 per person is required to confirm your reservation along with a signed booking form. Tables will be held based on the deposit amount paid (ie £70.00 deposit will confirm a table for 7 inc. children).
Menu choices and final payment is required no later than 25th November.
Cancellations made between 25th November & by 12:00 pm on 11th December will be charged a cancellation fee equalling 2/3rd’s of the final balance. No refunds will be given for any bookings cancelled after this time.

New Years Eve
Booking is essential for New Years Eve Dinner, no other meals are being served after 5:00 pm.
A Non-refundable deposit of £10.00 per person is required to confirm your reservation along with a signed booking form.
Menu choices and final payment is required no later than 30th November.
Cancellations made between 30th November & by 12:00 pm on 17th December will be charged a cancellation fee equalling 2/3rd’s of the final balance. No refunds will be given for any bookings cancelled after this time.
Seating is allocated on round tables of 8 to 10 guests. Please inform us on booking, if you would like to be sat with a particular party.

 

 

The North Euston Hotel is a Non-Smoking building and as such, smoking is not permitted in any function room or public areas.

In the event of malicious, wilful or negligence of room or other property damage, the North Euston will charge the amount of any loss sustained, including business interruption losses to the credit/debit card of the registered customer. A Deep Clean Charge of £150.00 will be made if necessary. Where payment by the customer was made by means other than credit/debit card, The North Euston will pursue the matter through civil courts.

Whilst the hotel takes all responsible steps to ensure the accuracy of all information contained in its brochures, websites & advertisements, we reserve the right to alter, substitute or withdraw without notice if necessary. We shall not be bound by any descriptions, prices or other information set out in any such literature.
